Who can volunteer?

Our AXF family comprises dedicated volunteers, including stay-at-home mothers, grandmothers, active retirees, freelance professionals, and students from affluent schools and colleges. Each week, they contribute 2 to 3 hours to teach first-generation learners from underserved communities.

As a stay-at-home mother, you can offer guidance and care to many children.

If you’re an active retiree, your life experience and time can make a significant impact.

Working professionals can get involved by teaching extracurricular activities or providing vocational counselling on weekends.

College and school students can volunteer after school hours to fulfil community service requirements while gaining invaluable life experience.

Anyone who can share knowledge, and life experiences, and offer love, care, and support to children can become a volunteer.

Volunteering opportunities with us

As a volunteer, we ask that you commit to at least 1 year of service, from June to April, for 2 to 3 hours a week.
After 40 hours of service in one academic year, student volunteers receive a certificate, while others receive theirs after 55  hours of service.
