I have always been a keen advocate of education. I believe that education is the only way forward. I was in our family business for many years and then a homemaker. I sought a place where I could follow my passion to teach and educate. AXF miraculously happened to me four years ago. Now it is my life!
How I became one with AXF
Due to my keen interest in teaching, I found an instant connect with the cause of AXF. After reading about its work, I reached out to the managers. The bond has only strengthened over the years that I have been with the organization since then.
Being a volunteer and a co-centre head has given me the opportunity to interact with and impact the children at the centre. This fills me with a sense of deep satisfaction and joy. Over the years, I have not only connected joyfully with the children but also become a mentor and trainer to fellow volunteers.
The last year spent with the sweetest, most loving children, who have a very strong desire to learn and progress, has been a very rewarding year. I am deeply involved and very enthused to further this cause.
I look forward to furthering the cause of AXF
I am happy to contribute what I can towards AXF and its philosophy. I am truly blessed to have found amazing friends here who share my beliefs and passion. AXF is a place of joy for me.
Working in art education with a difference changed my perspective towards education. Joining AXF has been a very significant life event which has made me happier, more confident and more empathetic towards people. The immense love I get from the children as reciprocation is my reward.
