At School
Schools can either have a limited engagement with weekly CAS activities, where students can contribute to AXF through weekend volunteering at our centres or by taking our children to school for pre-planned activities. Schools can also start a learning centre at school premises under the schools banner. As a part of this program, the teacher body, parent body, and student body can engage equally through a defined planned activity.
Schools with AXF Learning Centres
Billabong International School, Malad has entered its second year of hosting an AXF centre. The school hosts a daily class catering to 80 slum children. Classes are managed by PTA members supported by Billabong High School students who need to put in social service hours.
Students of Ecole Mondiale World School, Juhu have been mentoring AXF children for the past three years. In fact, 2017 marked the beginning of a dedicated AXF centre at the school.
The Gateway School of Mumbai also adopted the AXF program and offered classes to a group of slum children twice a week, managed by students of the school.
Students from Jamnabai Narsee School, National College, St Xavier’s, Avabai Petit, Cathedral and John Connon High School, and NMIMS have contributed to our programs.
